Early Life and Career
Marco Reus was born on May 31, 1989, in Dortmund, Germany. He began his football career with local club Post SV Dortmund at the age of six. In 2006, he joined Borussia Dortmund's youth academy and quickly rose through the ranks. He made his professional debut for the club in 2009.
Club Career
Reus has spent the majority of his career at Borussia Dortmund, where he has become one of the most important players in the team. He has won the Bundesliga title twice (2011-12 and 2018-19) and the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) three times (2012, 2017, and 2021). He has also been named the Bundesliga Player of the Season twice (2011-12 and 2013-14).
In addition to his success at Borussia Dortmund, Reus has also played for Borussia Mönchengladbach (2009-2012) and FC Schalke 04 (2012-2013). He has a total of 196 goals and 124 assists in 472 club appearances.
International Career
Reus has represented Germany at the international level since 2010. He has played in two World Cups (2014 and 2018) and two European Championships (2012 and 2016). He has scored 15 goals in 48 appearances for the German national team.
