Tommy Robinson Faces Contempt Proceedings for Continuing Activism

Assistant Political Advisor Accused of Breaching Royal Court Order

Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, commonly known as Tommy Robinson, is set to face contempt proceedings at the Royal Courts of Justice on Monday. The British anti-Islam campaigner and activist has been accused of continuing his activism despite being banned by a court order.

Call for an End to Rally

On Monday, Robinson called an end to a rally in central London, echoing Julius Caesar's famous words. From a stage in Trafalgar Square, he told his supporters, "We came, we saw, we conquered." However, he has since been charged for attending a rally against antisemitism in central London.

Massive London Rally

Thousands of supporters of Robinson filled Trafalgar Square in central London after a march on Saturday. The far-right activist claimed the event was the biggest patriotic rally in British history. Organizers estimated that approximately 100,000 people attended the event.
