Australia Falls to Canada

Australia has fallen to Canada 93-83 at the Olympic Games, despite strong performances from Josh Green and Chris Goulding. Canada's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led all scorers with 24 points.
The Boomers led 55-49 at halftime, but Canada came out firing in the third quarter, outscoring Australia 33-19 to take a commanding lead. Australia was unable to close the gap in the fourth quarter.
It's a disappointing result for Australia, who were hoping to start their Olympic campaign with a victory. The Boomers will need to bounce back quickly, as they face Italy on Friday.
